Isha Bel is a dynamic reggae artist from Kingston, Jamaica, whose powerful voice and conscious lyrics continue to make waves on the global stage. Founder of Kalinga Records, she blends roots reggae with rub-a-dub and modern urban sounds, creating what she calls higrade vibes—a sound that is as potent as it is uplifting.
Her catalog includes standout projects such as Still A Make A Way, Second Nature, and the acclaimed Hear Me Now album. She has worked with renowned labels including Zion Cave Records, Addis Records, Dubquake Records, and King Jammy’s, and has collaborated with legends like Chaka Demus on Time to Have Fun (Sleng Teng Riddim).
Isha Bel is the only Jamaican female artist with a vocal pack on Splice, a testament to her influence in reggae and dub production. She has graced stages across Europe, the UK, and the Caribbean, including Reggae Sumfest, the Reggaeland Festival, and the Lightning & Thunder European Tour.
Beyond music, Isha Bel is dedicated to social change. Through the Uplift East Movement, she supports youth and the elderly in East Kingston. She is also a director of the Indigenous Motherhouse Foundation, providing safe spaces for vulnerable women and children. Her work with Stand Up for Jamaica includes prison rehabilitation and empowerment initiatives.
